'Timelines' is a collection of 10 images from my trip to Summerlee. An industrial/ historical museum about the industrial life in Scotland
This museum has been a primary school, high school and family favorite for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite museums other than art museums such as The National Portrait Museum in Edinburgh, Kelvingrove and many more. Moving on...
This trip in particular has so many nostalgic feelings, memories and thoughts. Especially the cafe, my family and I frequented there during holidays and such.
10/10 would recommend to the folks who are into the more historical side of Scotland and the Industrial age. There is also many actual documents from that time on display in the Museum as well as the official machines that were used during this time. There is also a walkway around the Ironworks official site from way back when! Seems that the Iron was transported via the canal as there is a boat and canal next to the site.
This was one of my favorite and most nostalgic places to go. Please go for a visit if you have the chance! Good tourist location too.
